I went in blind, thinking I could do this. I mean, who do I think I am?
It started because I wanted to include the friends who couldn’t make it to our weekly pickup sessions and missed all the good moments. One day I said to myself: “This would’ve been such a great premise for an anime.” Sports, but not about a special talent and not about teenagers — older people with jobs, just trying to enjoy themselves.
An anime was far too much effort, so I paid OpenAI for a pro subscription to analyze my content instead. It told me this could be so good. And I believed it.
It lied.
I found out how bad it actually was once I started editing: “This is what you said was good? Are you kidding?” But I’m glad I bought into the positivity — because it really is good now.
Good enough that you might want a few different copies as gifts, which begs the question…
